As a church, we want to seek the Lord together during Passion Week through intentional prayer and fasting. By pursuing God both spiritually and physically, we posture ourselves to remember Christ’s suffering, celebrate His resurrection, and draw near to His presence. Prayer Gatherings Monday–Friday | 6:30–8am | All Campuses If you are unable to attend in person, set aside time during those hours to pray at home or wherever you are. Our hope is that our church family begins each day of Passion Week seeking the Lord together in prayer. Fasting Our shared commitment is simple: begin each day with prayer before eating. We encourage everyone to replace breakfast with prayer, making lunch the first meal of the day during Passion Week. Those who wish to deepen the discipline may consider extending their fast in one of the following ways: Option 1 — Gradual Fast Mon–Tue: Fast until lunch Wed–Thu: Fast until dinner Fri: Fast until after the Good Friday service Option 2 — Increasing Daily Fast Tue: First meal at dinner Wed: Fast all day until after Thursday morning prayer Thu–Fri: Fast until after the Good Friday service Option 3 — Daily Daytime Fast Mon–Thu: No food until dinner Fri: Fast until after the Good Friday service Option 4 — Full Passion Week Fast Fast from Monday after prayer until the Good Friday service. Fasting is not simply about abstaining from food. It is about making space to seek God more deeply. During the times you would normally eat, devote extra attention to prayer, Scripture, and God’s presence.
