I grew up in a christian home on a farm north of Polk City. After high school I attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. Then, I returned home and taught middle and high school in the Des Moines Public Schools for nine years. My husband Chad and I have two daughters, Abby and Emily.
As the Campus & Preteen Coordinator, I get to help our campuses thrive by supporting our leaders, volunteers, and teams while helping create a consistent experience across First Family Church. I enjoy connecting people, solving problems, and keeping things moving behind the scenes so our ministries can flourish. I also lead our Crew45 preteen ministry, where I love helping 4th and 5th graders grow in their faith, build friendships, and take their next steps with Jesus.
